Expressions of Interest open for Personalised Care Champion

We are delighted to be able to share the opportunity to come and work with Wessex Cancer Alliance, in two new roles that will support the Personalised Care workstream. Please see below for details and expression of interest forms on the right of this page.

Personalised Care Champion – Nurse/AHP/Cancer Support Worker – 0.2 WTE.

The purpose of this role is for the successful candidate (one per Trust) to work in partnership with the Alliance and Trust Cancer leads as a Personalised Care champion.  Wessex Cancer Alliance will be setting up a Personalised Care Champions Forum to bring these roles together to share learning and understanding relating to current practice focusing on personalisation of care within cancer pathways.  The roles will have protected time (1 day per week over 12 months) to support local/regional quality improvement initiatives.

Personalised Access & Care in Cancer (PACC) Project Champion/Early adapter site

This is an opportunity for 2 champions from the Wessex region and their Trust/team to be the identified early adopter site for the PACC Study (details of this work are included in the EOI form).  The Champion/Trust will work in partnership with the CenTRIC+ team at the University of Southampton and will commit to piloting resources from the PACC study and contributing to local/CenTRIC+ evaluation.  WCA are offering funding for time and will contribute to costs for academic study.
