National Primary Care Informal Discussion Group

Personalised Care

Are you interested in the role of primary care and community based services in improving healthcare for people living with and after cancer?

The National Primary Care informal discussion group is for primary care nurses, GPs, allied health professionals, support workers, personalised care leads, and those with an interest in personalised cancer care and the role of primary care and community based services.

We meet quarterly on MS teams on a Tuesday lunchtime. We welcome speakers from the group or externally who would like to share their work with our group. We strive for discussion in our informal (but structured) and friendly meetings.

The group was set up and hosted by Transforming Cancer Services Team for London until July 2024. The group is now hosted by the Wessex Cancer Alliance.
