Sally first joined the NHS in 2004 working in Service Improvement and Commissioning spending 13 years in transformation of services, after a successful career working in petroleum refining as a Chartered Chemical Engineer.

In Sally’s previous role as Network Manager for the Cancer Strategic Clinical Network, she was responsible for the programme management of cancer health service improvement across Wessex, leading a programme to reduce premature mortality across Wessex. Sally published both the cancer five year Strategic Vision for Wessex and research on early detection and translation of learning to other clinical areas at a national level.
