Primary Care Cancer Lead

Richard is the Cancer Alliance Primary Care Cancer Lead for Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. He supports the team of Alliance GPs to influence the changes needed to improve cancer prevention, the earlier diagnosis of cancer, improve the experience of those receiving cancer treatments and then living with and beyond cancer. He has been a GP in Hampshire for over 30 years and currently works in the Wessex Rapid Investigation Service.  He also has held a number of national cancer leadership roles for the past 10 years.
