Acute Oncology Transformation Lead

Katie works at the Alliance as the transformation lead for Acute Oncology. Her background is haemato-oncology nursing and advanced practice with experience in leading the ACP workforce and driving strategic change.

Her role within the Alliance is to focus on Acute Oncology Services across the region, to bring together, share and support service improvement in a collaborative way regardless of service design. Katie sits on the National Project Management Group for UKAOS, contributed significantly to the UKAOS four nations phoneline review and is currently participating in research around the same subject. She is passionate about equity and accessibility for patients receiving treatment or support for a cancer diagnosis.
