This project evaluates the capacity and demand associated with clinical pharmacy verification of Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy (SACT) prescriptions across provider Trusts within the Wessex Cancer Alliance (WCA). The project aimed to quantify growth in SACT verification activity over time, assess the clinical pharmacy workforce required to support this demand, and identify any existing workforce deficits by piloting the British Oncology Pharmacy Association (BOPA) Clinical Pharmacy Capacity Planning Tool.
