Description: This one-day course is designed for healthcare professionals who work with adults experiencing chronic pain as a consequence of cancer treatment. The event will explore the complexity of pain as a cancer late effect, combining lived patient experiences, expert perspectives, and practical management strategies.

  • Patient voices sharing first-hand experiences of living with pain after cancer treatment
  • Expert insights from Martin Galligan, NIHR Doctoral Research Fellow and Senior Lecturer at The Royal Marsden School, alongside the CCLERS specialist interdisciplinary team
  • Understanding and managing the wider impact of pain – including fatigue, sleep disruption, brain fog, and the effects on mind, body, and self
  • Networking opportunities with colleagues and specialists in cancer pain rehabilitation
