Monday 6 October, 2025 marks the beginning of Acute Oncology Week – a week designed to acknowledge and celebrate the hard work of our Acute Oncology Services across the country.

Here in Wessex, we have spoken to some of our AOS teams and asked them what Acute Oncology is and the value of this service to patients.
