Cancer Care Modules Dates Released

We are pleased to announce the latest cancer care course dates for 2025-2026, have been released.

Wessex Cancer Alliance has partnered with the University of Southampton to support the professional development of registered healthcare professionals who care for people with cancer and wish to expand their knowledge of cancer and its treatment. This has allowed us to develop level 6/7 cancer education modules that sit within the MSc in Professional Practice in Health Sciences academic pathway.

New course dates for the next academic year are now available alongside a description of the course and links to the application process.

You can find all the information on our dedicated Wessex Cancer Academy MSc Modules webpage.

All the modules that we support are mapped to the ACCEND framework

The modules can be studied as stand-alone courses or grouped together into a masters level academic pathway provided by the University of Southampton – Professional Practice in Health Sciences. The core module required for that pathway is Research Skills. The pathway can be followed to achieve a PgC, PgD, or Masters academic award. More information about the pathway can be found University of Southampton website.

If you would like any further information or have questions about these modules, please contact Helen Perry, Wessex Cancer Alliance Workforce Project Manager.
