Wessex Cancer Alliance Practice Nurse Education Events

As part of our Alliance’s 2024 Local Improvement Scheme (LIS), we are hosting a series of free evening education events for practice nurses.

PCNs are required to have a minimum of one nurse attend per PCN, but this is open to all practice nurses within the region.

Timings:

6:45pm- Arrival and hot meal available

7:15pm- Earlier diagnosis of cancer education session

8:15-8:30pm- Break

8:30pm- Consequences of cancer treatment

9:30pm- Finish

Online Option

There are also online events that will be delivered in two parts, to accommodate those who are unable to attend an in-person event. You are encouraged to attend both parts. If you are unable to attend the online sessions “live” then we will be recording them so you can watch back on demand.
