This is not a prescriptive programme, and dependent on previous knowledge, experience and specific duties, staff may require further or alternative development to feel competent and confident within their particular role. Whilst training courses often provide the knowledge that is required, development of skills and competence can be gained in many ways including learning from colleagues, shadowing, reading and reflecting on your practice.
