New Health Inequalities E-Learning for Wessex Cancer Workforce

We are pleased to announce the launch of our new health inequalities e-learning – focussed on the experiences of patients with cancer.

Originally developed and tested by Cheshire and Merseyside Cancer Alliance, this training has been adapted by Wessex Cancer Alliance to support our local workforce.

It takes 60-90 minutes to complete and is very practical and interactive.

Everyone is asked to pledge to do something that will make a difference to their patients, however small, and be part of a movement for change.

After completing the training you will also be invited to join our virtual Health Inequalities and Patient Experience Champions network, which will support you to make practical changes that make a real difference to your patients and care-givers.

To complete the training, you will need to create an account here and select Wessex Cancer Alliance when prompted.

If, having done the training, you would like to join our Health Inequalities and Patient Experience Network please do get in touch.  The first meeting will be online on Thursday, 3 July between 12-1.30pm.

If you have any questions about the training, the Network or health inequalities in general please get in touch with the team via Sue Newell.
