DESCRIPTION:THIS TRAINING COURSE HAS BEEN CANCELLED \nThis is considered the “gold standard” of communications skills training for the cancer workforce. The course is led by experienced trained facilitators and involves the use of actors in scenarios. Content includes: \n\nbreaking bad news\nshared decision making\ntransition to palliative care\n\nYou will need to have an enhanced level of communications skills training prior to applying for this course. \nSession 1: Date and Time: Wednesday 18th November 2026\, 8:30-17:30 \nSession 2: Date and Time: Thursday 19th October 2026\, 8:30-17:00 \nVenue: RNLI College\, West Quay Road\, Poole\, BH15 1HZ \nCost: Free \nAudience: This course is aimed at experienced cancer clinical nurse specialists (band 6 and above) to enhance their communication skills in more challenging scenarios.
