Children who are given information and support when they need it\, say they feel more included and better prepared for the death of their parent. The course is led by experienced trained facilitators and involves the use of actors in scenarios. Content includes: \n\nbreaking bad news\nshared decision making\ntransition to palliative care\n\nYou will need to have an enhanced level of communications skills training prior to applying for this course. \nAudience: This course is aimed at senior healthcare professionals (band 6 or above) to enhance their communication skills in more challenging scenarios such as.
