DESCRIPTION:Session 1: Date and Time: Monday 26th January 2026\, 11am-1pm \nSession 2: Date and Time: Thursday 5th February 2026\, 11am-1pm \nVenue: Lecture Theatre\, Education Centre\, Poole Hospital\, BH15 2JB \nCost: Free \nDescription: Gain practical skills to help manage your stress levels and maintain a good work life balance. \nDr Kate Jenkins delivers her Psychological Five-a-Day Training for our cancer workforce. This course focusses on personal resilience and is aimed at the supportive workforce (Cancer Support Workers\, Cancer Care Coordinators\, Cancer Pathway Navigators and MDT Coordinators)\, although other cancer professionals are welcome to register. \nThe training runs for two hours over two sessions and participants must be able to attend both sessions. \nA total of 95% of previous participants have agreed or strongly agreed that the course would have a positive impact on their wellbeing and have made reference to recognising stress and implementing coping mechanisms as a result of attending. \nAudience: This course is aimed at ALL STAFF working in cancer care. \nEmail to Register: Email wessexcanceralliance@wca.uhs.nhs.uk
