SUMMARY:Learning Disabilities Resource for Cervical Sample Takers
DESCRIPTION:Date and Time: Tuesday 18th November 2025\, 13:00-13:55 \nFormat: Online\, MS Teams \nCost: Free \nDescription: A learning resource has been developed by a number of organisations across Wessex to help cervical sample takers and practice staff to support people with learning disabilities to participate in the NHS cervical screening programme. \nThere will be presentations by learning disabilities facilitators from Hampshire & Isle of Wight Health Care who have recently gathered direct feedback from service users on their perception and experience of cervical screening. They will also discuss the work they have done following this. \nA short run through of the education resource\, designed to support practice\, will then take place.
