SUMMARY:Preparing for Implementation of a New Radiotherapy Technique - Study Day
DESCRIPTION:The workshop is designed to support radiotherapy teams preparing to introduce a new treatment technique through the use of simulation-based learning and collaborative service planning. The programme includes sessions on training and competency planning\, workflow development\, implementation considerations\, and evaluation strategies. \nThe day will include interactive discussions\, group case-based simulations\, and a question-and-answer session with colleagues from an established centre. \nThe workshop offers an opportunity to share experiences\, identify implementation challenges\, and develop practical action plans to support the successful introduction of new techniques within participating centres. \nAudience: Designed for multidisciplinary radiotherapy teams. \nDate: Friday 16th October 2026 \nNote: This study day will be repeated on Thursday 12th November 2026 \nVenue: Health Sciences University\, Parkwood Campus\, Parkwood Rd\, Bournemouth\, BH5 2DF \nFor more information\, please email amy.shaw@uhs.nhs.uk
